First, the school’s capacity now is larger, accommodating 2,300 students in comparison with 1,500 students in 1985 【“伴随”作结果状语】. In addition, the walkway going through the campus from the car park to the playing field is now gone. And the central area of the campus, where the walkway goes though 【关系副词where引导的非限定性定语从句】, is now an afforested area as well as a fitness center and a pool.
The two classroom buildings, in the east of the campus, are now combined into onecompromising 3 floors that occupies a smaller area. In the west wing, a new classroom building has replaced part of the playing field, and north of it, a computer center and a learning resources center are built where the library was 【where引导的“方位副词”短语】. The office building, west of the exit, is kept in its original condition.
Overall, the school is now dramatically different.
Employers should not be concerned about the way their employees are dressed at work. They should only care about the quality of their work.

First, a specific dress code is different from wearing uniforms. Uniforms may be unnecessary at organizations where diversity of clothes is more desired than theirhomogeneity 【关系副词where引导的限定性定语从句】. A dress code is however essentialregardless of the type of business, because a person, an associate or a client, reacts to another under the impression created by clothes. For example, when a teacher’soutfit is inappropriate for the educational setting 【when引导的（不?#38750;校?#26102;间状语从句】, the principal has every reason to point it out and give advice. This is because no matter how well the teacher is able to perform, he or she may not achieve satisfactoryteaching effectiveness, since students may take the teacher lightly on the ground of his or her improper clothes choice. That is to say, one’s clothes choice may negatively affect one’s work performance, and a dress code is to ensure good performance.
Even though an unfit outfit might not compromise an employee’s individual performance 【让步状语从句，用于两个idea之间的衔接】, it certainly undermines the image of the entity of which the employee is a component. When this happens, the employer has a responsibility to intervene, which is to maintain the whole team’s fine display to the outside and thus to guarantee the whole organization’s quality of work.
In conclusion, although uniforms can be optional, it is necessary to have a dress code designed in accordance with a specific professional setting. The quality of both individual and collective work may be closely associated with workers’ choice of outfit.
